Blending beloved opera arias, Italian art song, Neapolitan favourites, and timeless crossover classics, the program journeys through the many musical landscapes of Italy, from the soaring drama of Puccini and Verdi to the nostalgic charm of songs such as Volare. Designed as both a concert and a storytelling experience, the evening invites audiences into a vibrant world of melody, memory, and Italian spirit.

Presented in collaboration with a cast of emerging and professional performers from the Lakeshore Conservatory community, Postcards from Italy showcases the next generation of artists alongside acclaimed soprano Stephanie DeCiantis in an atmosphere that is both polished and joyfully welcoming.

Known for her “powerful voice” and “lush musical ebb and flow” (Opera Canada), Stephanie brings her signature warmth and dramatic flair to a program that celebrates Italy not only as a musical tradition, but as a cultural home filled with laughter, longing, family, and celebration.
