Canadian dramatic soprano Stephanie DeCiantis joins Opéra Queens as a featured guest artist for the August installment of their groundbreaking residency at Toronto’s legendary Tranzac Club.

Presented by Opera Sustenida in the Southern Cross Lounge, the residency has been celebrated for bringing opera into an intimate nightclub setting while blending classical repertoire with drag performance, storytelling, and contemporary cultural commentary in a vibrant, community-focused atmosphere.

Known for her powerful dramatic soprano repertoire and commanding stage presence, Stephanie joins the residency for a special summer performance exploring opera through an accessible, genre-bending lens designed to welcome both longtime opera lovers and new audiences alike.
